3 drown, 1 missing in Zambales beach

BOTOLAN, Zambales, Philippines — Three persons drowned while another remained missing during a family outing on a beach in Barangay Panan in this town on Saturday.

A police report identified the fatalities as Reynaldo Santiago, 60; Donna Santiago, 33, and Realyn Rosales, 17.

The lifeguard of a nearby resort managed to rescue Donna, but she was declared dead on arrival in a hospital.

The body of Rosales was recovered after a few hours while Reynaldo was found dead by villagers on Sunday.

The 13-year-old companion of the fatalities has yet to be found.
