MANILA, Philippines — Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna lauded the city-run Sta. Ana Hospital for receiving the highest rank on COVID response and management among level 2 public hospitals in Metro Manila.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, Lacuna said the hospital received a rating of 97 out of 100 from the Metro Manila Center for Health Facility Development and Enhancement Unit, an agency under the Department of Health.
“Congratulations to the Sta. Ana Hospital for receiving the highest ranking among local government hospitals and national government hospitals in Metro Manila,” Lacuna said.
The mayor assured her constituents that the hospital would continue to provide quality service to the public.
Hospital director Dr. Grace Padilla thanked the medical institution’s staff for their hard work.
“We will continue to provide quality service for Manileños while continuing to adhere to the highest standards set by the national agency,” Padilla said.
The hospital received the perfect scores of 20 for governance, 15 for quality measurement and 10 for facility safety and emergency room management.
It also obtained a rating of 19 out of 20 for ethics and patient rights, 19 out of 20 for patient safety and 14 out of 15 for resource management.
