4 Chinese arrested for kidnapping

MANILA, Philippines — Police apprehended four Chinese in Parañaque City for allegedly kidnapping their compatriot on Sunday night.

Tang Hu, Jiang Zhengxing, Liu Lu and Gud Hui were taken into police custody.

The victim, Zhijie Huang, was rescued by members of the Southern Police District.

Reports said the security guards of Aseana City saw the kidnapping, prompting them to seek police help.

Responding policemen blocked the suspects’ vehicle, resulting in their arrest.

Authorities said they recovered from the suspects several firearms, shabu and drug paraphernalia.

Charges of kidnapping as well as possession of illegal drugs and firearms will be filed against the suspects.
