MANILA, Philippines — An estimated P4 million worth of shabu was confiscated from five suspects in Makati last week, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) reported yesterday.

Jebert Baluerte, 26; Leopoldo Montes, 53, and Myrafe Montes, 42, were nabbed during an anti-narcotics operation in Barangay Rizal.

NCRPO director Maj. Gen. Felipe Natividad described the suspects as “high-value targets” on the drug watchlist of the Southern Police District.

Police also arrested the suspects’ alleged accomplices Paul Graham Gonzales, 28, and Reinsher Anne Jamero, 23.

“The NCRPO will continue the conduct of anti-narcotics operations to eradicate illegal drugs and arrest sources, coddlers and sellers,” Natividad said.

The suspects are being held on charges of violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
