MANILA, Philippines — No tropical cyclone is expected to enter or develop within the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) until weekend, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

The state weather bureau said generally fair weather is expected across the country.

PAGASA said the low-pressure area monitored recently left the PAR yesterday morning.

However, the southwest monsoon or habagat and localized thunderstorms will continue to bring rains.

PAGASA said there is a higher chance of rain in the western part of Luzon due to habagat, especially in the afternoon and evening.

The agency warned the public that flash floods or landslides are still possible during severe thunderstorms.

Temperature in Metro Manila will range between 24 to 33 degrees Celsius.
