Taguig’s voter registration portal shut down

Neil Jayson Servallos - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — The Commission on Elections (Comelec) office in Taguig yesterday closed online appointments in the city’s voter registration portal.

The Comelec said applications for voter certification would be on a “first-come, first-served basis.”

“Because of this, all appointment slots secured in the portal are considered canceled,” the Comelec said.

Residents who want to register for the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections in December need to appear at the local poll body’s office from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
