4 bodies dumped in Misamis Oriental

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Philippines — Four bodies including a minor were found along a road in Villanueva, Misamis Oriental at dawn yesterday.

Police said the bodies were all male and bore gunshots including to the head. Except for the minor, the victims were estimated to be between 20 to 35 years old.

The bodies were found at around 4 a.m. in Purok 9, Barangay Imelda by a motorist, who told police that he was headed home in nearby Barangay Dayawan when he saw a body lying on the road.

He said he turned around to ask for help and saw three more bodies.

The victims’ hands were tied and their mouths covered with duct tape. Probers recovered bullet shells for a .45- caliber pistol at the scene.
