MANILA, Philippines — Returning Navotas Mayor John Rey Tiangco on Saturday lauded 39 residents who graduated from the community-based drug rehabilitation program.
In a Facebook post, Tiangco said the residents were graduates of the city’s “Bidahan” drug rehabilitation program.
“We are happy for the residents who have graduated from the drug rehabilitation program. We commend you for your efforts to change,” Tiangco said.
“We also thank their families who have supported them,” he added.
John Rey is the brother of former Navotas mayor Toby Tiangco. The Tiangcos switched city hall and district seats in the May elections.
