Olivarez launches ‘Serbisyo’ Center at Ayala Malls Parañaque
MANILA, Philippines — Mayor Edwin Olivarez and Ayala Land Malls president Christopher Maglanoc yesterday led the launching of the Express Lingkod Office (ELO) Serbisyo Center.
Olivarez said the ELO-Serbisyo Center, which is located on the fourth floor of Ayala Malls-Manila Bay, is the first of its kind in the country as it brings under one roof all frontline services of the city government.
“This one-stop shop, a partnership of Ayala Malls with the city government, seeks to provide government related-transactions in one accessible and convenient location,” Olivarez, who was elected representative of the city’s first district, said.
Also present during the launching were Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez, Interior Secretary Eduardo Año, Health Secretary Francisco Duque III, acting Anti-Red Tape Authority director Ernesto Perez and Paranaque mayor-elect Eric Olivarez.
Among the services to be offered at the Serbisyo Center are applications for business permit, building permit processing, COVID-19 vaccinations and issuance of senior citizen cards.
Job applicants and employees can also secure working permit, health certificate, cedula, police clearance and authenticated birth and marriage certificates.
Maglanoc said they signed a memorandum of agreement with the Parañaque government for a 500-square-meter space at Ayala Malls.
City business permit and licensing office chief Melanie Malaya said employees who want to renew their permits, especially those working in hotels, casinos and malls located at the Entertainment City would no longer go to the city hall.
