MANILA, Philippines — The remains of Filipino lawyer John Albert Laylo, who was shot dead in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, will arrive in Manila today.
Laylo and his mother were in an Uber vehicle in Philadelphia to catch their flight to Chicago on June 18 when a gunman fired at them. Laylo died from a gunshot to the head.
Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney has offered a $20,000 reward for information leading to the gunman’s arrest.
