Fair weather in Luzon, Visayas this weekend
MANILA, Philippines — Luzon and most parts of the Visayas will experience fair weather this weekend, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration.
PAGASA said it would be sunny from morning to noon with isolated rains and thunderstorms toward the afternoon and night.
The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 24 to 34 degrees Celsius. Baguio City will be cooler at 16 to 25 degrees Celsius.
PAGASA said the intertropical convergence zone affecting the southern part of the country would bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms in Zamboanga peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao as well as in parts of Western Visayas and Central Visayas.
No low-pressure area is expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility in the next three days.
PAGASA declared the onset of the rainy season last week.
The state weather bureau said the southwest monsoon that is affecting the western part of the country has been monitored to be weak in the past several days.
