MANILA, Philippines — Ten brand-new vans were donated by the Perry’s Group of Companies through its “Malasakit: Wheels for a Cause Program” to the Paranaque City government to safeguard its employees in the current pandemic situation.

The service vehicles donation was personally received by Mayor Edwin Olivarez and business permit and licensing office chief Melanie Malaya from Perry’s president Lourdes Grace Mapalad, during a simple ceremony at the city hall.

Olivarez said the donated service vehicles will also be used by city hall employees, especially those who will be assigned in the Express Lingkod Office service center in Ayala Malls Manila Bay that will be operational starting June this year.

He said the city hall satellite offices will soon to open beside the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange or PITX along Coastal Road in Barangay Tambo.

The mayor added that the five-story satellite office in the PITX will also house the Department of Foreign Affairs, Bureau of Internal Revenue, Social Security and Services Government Service and Insurance System  and other counterpart national government agencies.
