Boy, 6, accidentally shot by cousin dies  

UMINGAN, Pangasinan, Philippines — A six-year-old boy died after he was accidentally shot by his cousin in Barangay Don Montano in this town on Thursday.

The boy was declared dead on arrival in a hospital.

Police said the victim was playing with his 13-year-old cousin when the incident occurred.

The 13-year old boy was reportedly playing with a vintage .22-caliber pistol that he found on top of a cabinet, that he thought was a toy gun.

The boy was said to be traumatized by the incident.
