Cop’s wife, soldier caught cheating  

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Philippines — A policeman’s wife has been arrested after she was caught cheating on her spouse.

The woman, a nurse, and her lover, said to be a soldier, were arrested at the rented apartment of the policeman’s wife in Barangay Kauswagan on Sunday.

Initial investigation showed the policeman sought the help of his colleagues when he noticed a pair of male slippers outside the apartment when he came to pick her up.

Probers said the woman was found with the soldier who was sleeping in the bedroom.

Police said a 9mm pistol and four magazines with bullets were recovered from the soldier.

The policeman said he would file charges for adultery against his wife and violation of the election gun ban against her lover.
