2 die in Negros road mishap  

BACOLOD CITY, Philippines — Two persons died while 15 others were injured in a vehicular accident in Himamaylan, Negros Occidental on Saturday.

Edna Tupas, 61, and Rose Baguios, 59, were declared dead on arrival at the nearby Valeriano Gatuslao Memorial District Hospital due to severe head and body injuries.

Of the 15 injured passengers, seven were confined in different hospitals while the rest were sent home after receiving treatment for minor injuries.

The victims were traveling in Barangay Nabali-an when their vehicle rolled over.
