MANILA, Philippines — A small town lottery (STL) bet collector was shot dead in Rosario, Batangas on Wednesday.
The body of Alberto Bregonia, 47, which bore a gunshot wound in the back, was found by the roadside in Barangay Leviste at around 8:30 p.m., according to a
report from the Batangas police.
Police said Bregonia left his home at around 6 p.m. to bring P11,750 in collected bets to the STL office in Rosario.
