Pasay bettor wins P33 million lotto pot

MANILA, Philippines — A bettor in Pasay City won the P33-million jackpot in the Mega Lotto 6/45 draw on Wednesday night, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said.

Royina Garma, PCSO general manager, said the bettor picked the winning combination 42-05-10-30-27-19, which carried a total prize of P33,070,560.40.

Garma said 78 other bettors would receive P32,000 each for guessing five digits of the winning combination.

The Mega Lotto is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Lotto winnings are subject to a 20 percent tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act or TRAIN Law.
