Pasig trikes can transport passengers to Pateros

Neil Jayson Servallos - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — Tricycle drivers in Pasig City can now transport passengers to Pateros under an agreement between the two local governments, Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto announced over the weekend.

Under the agreement signed last week, Pasig tricycles can transport residents to any part of Pateros. Pasig-bound tricycles in the municipality can drop off passengers to select routes.

These routes are Barangay Buting, Immaculate Conception Cathedral, Barangay Kalawaan, Pasig Mega Market and Meralco Sagad.

The local governments said tricycle drivers must have a valid franchise from the city hall and a certificate of registration from the Land Transportation Office.
