MANILA, Philippines — The 10th most wanted fugitive of Antique province was arrested in Quezon City on Wednesday.
Joenard Mendoza, 45, was apprehended by policemen in Barangay Payatas at around 1 p.m., according to Quezon City Police District director Brig. Gen. Remus Medina.
Medina said Mendoza is the subject of an arrest warrant for rape issued by San Jose, Antique Regional Trial Court Branch 64 Judge Antonio Matino, who refused to grant bail.
Medina did not give other details on the case the suspect is facing in Antique.
