Ex-Pangasinan university exec found dead

INFANTA, Pangasinan, Philippines — A former executive director of the Pangasinan State University (PSU) was found dead at the back  of her house in Sitio Sawang, Barangay Bamban in this town on Tuesday.

The body of Naominada Olermo, 67, which bore hack wounds, was discovered by her neighbor, farm caretaker Juderick Manalo at around 5:30 p.m.

In a post on Facebook, the PSU community mourned the death of Olermo, who served the university from 1987 to 2019.

The university administration called on law enforcement agencies to speed up their investigation to immediately punish the perpetrators of the crime.
