Rent sangla scam: 12 more vehicles recovered

MALOLOS, Bulacan, Philippines — Twelve more vehicles were recovered on Thursday and Friday in connection with a car rental scam in Bulacan.

Maj. Michael Villar, Bulacan Highway Patrol Group chief, said four Toyota Wigo, two Mitsubishi Mirage and one unit each of Hyundai Accent, Toyota Rush, Toyota Innova, Mitsubishi Expander, Honda City and Toyota Vios were recovered in Bocaue, Bustos, Norzagaray, San Jose del Monte and Metro Manila.

Villar said they conducted follow-up operations after five suspects – Jennelyn Godoy, John Arce Chavez, Carlo Etomay, Harvie Odin and Lorenzo Sagayap – were apprehended on Tuesday. – Ric Sapnu
