BACOLOD CITY, Philippines — The number of COVID cases among members of the Western Visayas police has dropped to three as of yesterday.
Both the Negros Occidental and Bacolod City police recorded zero infection among their personnel, a report of the Philippine National Police-Health Service said.
The three cases were recorded at the Iloilo police and at the regional police headquarters at Camp Martin Delgado in Iloilo City.
Two have recovered from the virus and the number of fatalities remains at seven.
Of the 1,748 uniformed and non-uniformed personnel infected by the virus in Western Visayas, 1,738 have recovered, according to the regional police office.
