Negros Occidental retains curfew hours
BACOLOD CITY, Philippines — Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson is not inclined to lift curfew hours even though the province has been downgraded to Alert Level 2 as COVID cases continued to drop.
“I feel we should still keep the curfew,” Lacson said.
Curfew hours in Negros Occidental are from midnight to 4 a.m. for adults and 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. for minors.
Up to 1,291,349 Negrenses have been vaccinated as of Feb. 12, which is equivalent to 61.54 percent of the target population of 2,098,421, the provincial health office reported yesterday.
Active cases in Negros Occidental dropped to 1,992 as of Wednesday.
