MANILA, Philippines — More than 700 families lost their homes in a fire that destroyed 200 houses in Cavite City on Saturday afternoon.
Fire investigators said they have yet to determine the cause of the blaze that occurred in Barangays 24, 25, 26 and 27.
The fire reached third alarm at around 2:18 p.m. and was put out at around 5:10 p.m.
The affected families were brought to the Ladislao Diwa Elementary School.
No injuries and casualties were reported in the incident.
