Manila gets 30K Pfizer jabs for kids 5-11

MANILA, Philippines — The city government of Manila has received 30,000 doses of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine for children aged five to 11.

The vaccines arrived at the Sta. Ana Hospital yesterday, in time for the start of Manila’s vaccination of children five to 11 years old at the renovated Manila Zoo on Monday, the city government said in an advisory.

As of Friday, 18,488 minors aged five to 11 were signed up online for vaccination.

Parents may register their children at manilacovid19vaccine.ph, the city government said.
