P10.9 million shabu seized in Rizal, Cebu

MANILA, Philippines — Anti-narcotics agents confiscated shabu valued at P10.9 million in  San Mateo, Rizal and Talisay, Cebu on Thursday.

Rizal police director Col. Dominic Baccay said more than a kilo of shabu worth P7.4 million was seized from Jeffrey Dalaodao, 35; Jeffrey Dimaano, 29, and Dierick Dela Cruz, 24, in Barangay Guitnang Bayan 2 in San Mateo at around 1 p.m.

In Talisay, police said shabu valued at P3.5 million was seized from John Casper Macaalay, 21, in Barangay Bulacao.

Philippine National Police chief Gen. Dionardo Carlos said the suspect also yielded a .22-caliber handgun.

In Misamis Oriental, shabu valued at P684,420 was confiscated from Richard Tabaque, 30, who was apprehended in Barangay Barra in Opol town.
