P3.2 million shabu, marijuana seized in Bulacan

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines — Shabu and marijuana bricks with an estimated combined value of P3.2 million were seized in separate stings in Bulacan on Saturday.

The anti-drug operations also resulted in the arrest of seven suspects, identified as Sanny Bernado, Annalyn Dupra, Norilyn Marinao, John Archie Sabado, Arturo Trinos and two minors.

Police said Sabado and his 17-year-old companion yielded 20 marijuana bricks valued at P2.8 million during a sting in Barangay Panasahan, Malolos.

The rest of the suspects reportedly yielded 12 plastic sachets containing shabu with an estimated street value of P400,000 following a sting in Barangay Minuyan Proper, San Jose del Monte City.

The minors were turned over to the local social welfare and development office while the rest were detained.
