Man held for P.2 million cocaine
MANILA, Philippines — One of the most wanted suspected drug pushers in Metro Manila was arrested in Quezon City yesterday in a sting that yielded P265,000 worth of cocaine.
Edward Victorio, 34, was apprehended by operatives of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 2 in Barangay Nayong Kaunlaran at around 3 a.m.
Brig. Gen. Antonio Yarra, QCPD director, said Victorio was collared in front of a restaurant along West Avenue after he negotiated with an undercover police officer.
Victorio, who yielded 50 grams of cocaine, is facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
