BUTUAN CIY, Philippines — Robbers broke into a lotto outlet and carted away P127,000 in cash in this city yesterday morning.
Lotto outlet cashier Judith de Josef told probers that she and her companion went out at around 8:30 a.m. to eat breakfast.
De Josef said that when they returned, they saw the door of the outlet forcibly opened. She said the drawer was also open and the cash was missing.
Witnesses told police that two men on a motorcycle pulled over in front of the lotto outlet and left a few minutes later.
They said they thought the men were employees of the lotto outlet.
