P.4 million shabu seized in Cavite sting

MANILA, Philippines — Shabu with an estimated street value of at least P400,000 was seized from a drug suspect during a sting in Tanza, Cavite yesterday.

Jaypee Talactac, 37, was collared after he reportedly sold two plastic sachets containing shabu to undercover agents in Barangay Amaya at around 3 a.m.

Meanwhile, in Nueva Ecija, a drug suspect was arrested for alleged possession of 2.5 kilos of dried marijuana valued at P306,600.

The suspect, identified as alias Jayjay, was collared in a police operation in Barangay San Jose Sur yesterday morning, according to Col. Jess Mendez, Nueva Ecija police director.
