MANILA, Philippines — The Manila city government has procured 10,000 antigen kits as the country braces for a surge in COVID-19 cases.

On his Facebook Live yesterday, Moreno said boosters would be offered at the Kartilya ng Katipunan for delivery riders of Grab, Angkas, Lalamove, Shopee, Mr. Speedy, Food Panda and Lazada.

Market workers in Divisoria were also offered booster shots at the corner of Juan Luna street and Recto Avenue last night, Moreno added.

Manila had recorded 1,124 active cases of COVID-19 as of yesterday, up from 990 new infections on Tuesday.
