2 in P30 million Pasig robbery wanted

MANILA, Philippines — The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) yesterday asked the public to call in tips that might lead to the capture of two men accused of involvement in a P30-million robbery in Pasig over the weekend.

In a wanted person bulletin, the NCRPO urged the public to contact the Pasig police station at 0921-892-2950, 0998-598-7880 or 8447-7953 should they have information on the whereabouts of Ferdinand Fallaria, a dismissed police officer, and Roel Galang.

The NCRPO said the public may also send text messages to Isumbong Kay RD NCRPO 0915-888-9181 or 0999-901-8181.

Fallaria and Galang escaped while Taguig police officers S/Sgt. Jayson Bartolome, Pat. Kirk Joshua Almojera and Cpls. Merick Desoloc and Christian Jerome Reyes were arrested after they reportedly broke into a Japanese expatriate’s home in Pasig and robbed him and his partner at gunpoint.

The suspects figured in a shootout that left Bartolome wounded and a civilian accomplice, John Carlo Atienza, dead.
