Navotas logs 3 active COVID-19 cases

MANILA, Philippines — There are only three active COVID-19 cases in Navotas ahead of Christmas Day, according to Mayor Toby Tiangco.

On his Facebook Live on Saturday night, Tiangco thanked his constituents for masking up and getting vaccinated.

“We could have zero COVID cases on Christmas,” he said in Filipino.

Navotas posted only one percent positivity rate on Saturday, Tiangco said.

Only Barangays Bagumbayan South, Northbay Boulevard South Dagat-Dagatan and San Jose have active COVID-19 cases.

Over 17,000 people in Navotas have recovered from the disease, according to the city government.
