BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — The city government has surpassed its target number of vaccinated adults at 262,185, representing 70 percent of its eligible population, officials said yesterday.
Records show Baguio has 118.02 percent partially vaccinated and 100.87 percent fully vaccinated adult residents as of Dec. 10.
The figures increased from 116.57 percent that received the first dose of the vaccine, and from 97.17 percent that were fully vaccinated as of Dec. 3.
On both dates, Baguio City ranked first among seven areas in the Cordilleras for having the most number of vaccinated adults.
Benguet, which has the highest target population in the region with 338,754, has 43.72 percent fully vaccinated and 59.41 percent partially vaccinated residents as of Dec. 10.
Apayao, which has the lowest target population in the region with 87,310, has 66.01 and 87.21 percent fully and partially vaccinated residents, respectively.
The entire Cordilleras, whose target is to vaccinate 1,275,904 people, has 79.54 percent partially, and 58.84 percent fully vaccinated people.
