Man blows up self with grenade

KIDAPAWAN CITY , Philippines — A man allegedly killed himself by detonating a grenade in front of his house in Makilala, North Cotabato on Thursday.

Initial investigation showed Alejandro delos Reyes set off the explosive following an argument with his wife over rumors that she was having an affair.

Delos Reyes, who was said to be drunk, blew himself up  as he stepped out of their house.

Probers are trying to determine where Delos Reyes got the grenade.

Only military personnel are allowed to bring grenades and only during security missions.
