MANAOAG, Pangasinan – Children below 14 years old are now allowed in the premises of the Minor Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Manoag if accompanied by their fully vaccinated parents or guardians.

The parents or guardians of these children should present their vaccination card, according to a post on the Facebook page of the Manaoag shrine.

Fr. Stephen Redillas, mass presider during the Feast of the Immaculate Conception on Wednesday, said he is happy to see children in the church again.

He thanked the local pandemic task force for this development.

Children were barred from the church for almost two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, 22 areas in this province logged zero new cases as of yesterday. The rest recorded single-digit infections.
