2 nabbed in drug stings

MANILA, Philippines — Two men were arrested in separate anti-narcotics operations in Malabon and Caloocan on Wednesday.

Police said Anrouie Sta. Rosa, 30, and Melandro de Leon, 38, are being held on charges of drug trafficking.

Sta. Rosa, said to be a member of the Ompong drug ring, allegedly yielded eight packs of shabu worth P115,600 during a sting in Barangay Longos, Malabon.

Police said they seized at least 20 grams of shabu worth P136,000 from De Leon.
