3 dead in Pampanga road mishap

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines — Three persons died and two others were injured when a light truck collided with a car along MacArthur Highway in Barangay Tabun in Mabalacat, Pampanga on Wednesday.

The driver of the Hyundai H100, Ariel Bancolita, 48, died at the scene, according to a police report.

Mervin Ocampo, the driver of the Honda City, and Franklin Basco died while being treated in a hospital.

Initial investigation showed the car was heading north when it hit the truck on the opposite lane.
