MANILA, Philippines — A man accused of heading a drug gang was caught in a sting in Navotas on Thursday night.
Rodolfo Flores Reyes, 43, who reportedly leads the Sputnik crime gang, allegedly sold a sachet of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu for P12,000 to an undercover police officer along C-3 Road in Barangay NBBS Kaunlaran, the Northern Police District reported.
Among the items seized from Reyes were a 9mm pistol with five bullets, 9.5 kilos of marijuana with a street value of P1.14 million, shabu worth P68,952 and a digital weighing scale, police said.
