MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Bong Go led the launch of the country’s 145th Malasakit Center at the Philippine National Police (PNP) General Hospital at Camp Crame in Quezon City on Monday.

The establishment of a Malasakit Center at Camp Crame will provide accessible frontline services and assistance to members of the 222,000-strong police force and their dependents.

Among these are financial and medical assistance from the Department of Health and other government agencies.

The national government has put in place Malasakit Centers in various hospitals nationwide as part of its vow to ensure people-oriented service delivery to compliment the implementation of Republic Act 11223 or the Universal Health Care Law.

Go also donated 15 bicycles, 15 tables and 20 pairs of shoes to COVID-19 frontliners who were present during the launching of the Malasakit Center.

PNP chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar lauded Duterte and Go for all the support they have provided to the police force and for always prioritizing the well-being of their personnel and dependents.
