MANILA, Philippines — The Manila Ocean Park reopened yesterday to fully vaccinated visitors after a year of closure due to quarantine restrictions.
The city government gave the greenlight for the theme park to resume operations at 30 percent capacity.
Only fully vaccinated visitors aged 18 to 65 are allowed in the theme park, which is open from Thursday to Sunday and during public holidays.
Manila Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna visited the park yesterday and welcomed its reopening after a year of shutting down.
“We are hopeful that more businesses will get back on track. The reopening of parks and other leisure establishments means that we are getting through the darkest times,” Lacuna said.
