Go helps Pangasinan town residents

The Philippine Star

Sen. Bong Go sent financial and livelihood assistance to low-income communities in Rosales, Pangasinan on Friday.

A day earlier, Go’s team conducted a similar activity in nearby San Manuel town, wherein he assured the residents that he would continue to provide them with easy access to quality healthcare.

Go reminded the residents to look after their health and encouraged them to take advantage of the medical assistance offered by the Malasakit Center at the Region 1 Medical Center in Dagupan City.

The Malasakit Center is a one-stop shop that brings together under one roof agencies involved in providing assistance such as the Department of Health, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Philippine Health Insurance Corp. and Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office.

Go urged the public to get vaccinated so the country can attain herd community, relax restrictions and open the economy.

His team distributed financial assistance to 2,829 tricycle drivers and operators, vendors, persons with disabilities and displaced overseas Filipino workers at the Robert B. Estrella covered court and at the Rosales National High School.
