MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Post Office (PHLPost) has released a new stamp to honor the invaluable contributions of Filipino teachers amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic as the country observes National Teachers’ Month from Sept. 5 to Oct. 5.
PHLPost general manager Norman Fulgencio said that the special teachers’ stamp depicts the slogan “iTeach for a Better future: My Teacher, My Frontline Hero” illustrating two students on online classroom activities, ensuring that learning continues despite the pandemic.
“Students are also encouraged to recognize their teachers and other role models by thanking them through the art of letter-writing using the Teacher’s Month stamps,” Fulgencio said.
He said the stamps are now available at the Manila Central Post Office stamp shop in Liwasang Bonifacio.
