BOC destroys P7 billion fake clothing

MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Customs (BOC) destroyed yesterday an estimated P7 billion worth of counterfeit branded clothes at the Port of Manila.

Fake clothes, bags, sandals and shoes were among the items seized from Bagong Milenyo in Pasay City, according to the BOC.

The destruction of the counterfeit items was witnessed by BOC officials and representatives from the Intellectual Property Rights Division.
