CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines — A drug suspect was killed in an alleged encounter with anti-narcotics agents in Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija yesterday morning.
Christian June Hizon of Barangay Daan Sarile, Cabanatuan City reportedly drew his gun after sensing he was dealing with police undercover agents in Barangay Maligaya, according to Col. Pedro Soliba, deputy director for operations of the Central Luzon police.
Police said they recovered the suspect’s handgun at the scene of the firefight as well as seven plastic sachets containing shabu, a sling bag and P1,000 marked money.
