MANILA, Philippines — Papal Nuncio Archbishop Charles Brown recently urged the Filipino youth to establish good communication with God through prayer.

In an article posted on CBCPNews, the official news service provider of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines, Brown encouraged young Filipinos to develop the habit of prayer, which is essential in getting in touch with God.

“When we pray, the line of communication between us and God becomes much clearer,” Brown said. “It doesn’t really matter what your habit of prayer is as long as you have a habit.”

Brown made the call when he visited the Diocese of Virac in Catanduanes for the blessing of the newly renovated cathedral on Aug. 27. The next day, he spoke with a group of young people.

He also led the blessing and turnover of housing units constructed for the poor in San Andres town.
