Man dies in motorcycle mishap

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — A man died while two others were injured in a collision involving motorcycles in Naguilian, La Union on Saturday night.

Sanny Boy Saculles, 42, was declared dead on arrival at the Naguilian District Hospital where Christopher Landingen, 27, and his backrider, whose name was not immediately available, were also taken for treatment.

Reports said Saculles and Landingen were traveling along the highway in Barangay Dal-lipaoen at around 7 p.m. when their motorcycles collided.

Landingen told probers that he overtook a tricycle, causing him to hit Saculles’ motorcycle. Police said Landingen was drunk.
