MANILA, Philippines — An Army trooper was arrested after he allegedly threatened to shoot a motorist over a parking dispute in Imus, Cavite on Sunday.
Ferdinand Paguirigan, 29, was arrested in Barangay Carsadang Bago 1 at around 3 p.m., a report from the Cavite police said.
Paguirigan reportedly figured in a quarrel with Ray Anthony Corpus, 30, who asked the soldier to remove his vehicle that was illegally parked in the area.
During the quarrel, Paguirigan reportedly pulled out his service firearm and threatened to shoot Corpus, who was compelled to leave.
Corpus sought the help of the police, which resulted in Paguirigan’s arrest.
