Courts closed tomorrow

MANILA, Philippines — All courts in the country will be closed tomorrow in observance of the Muslim holiday Eid’l Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice, the Supreme Court (SC) has announced.

“In view of Proclamation No. 1189, declaring July 20 as a regular holiday throughout the country, there will be no work in all courts nationwide,” the SC said in its official Twitter account.

Malacañang issued Proclamation 1189 declaring Eid’l Adha as a regular holiday.

Eid’l Adha is one of two Islamic holidays celebrated worldwide yearly.
