MANILA, Philippines — The Quezon City government has included in its vaccination program some 10,200 employees of 62 national government agencies.
“Since Quezon City is home to several national government agencies, government-owned and controlled corporations and their subsidiaries, their employees are also eligible to be part of our vaccination program,” Mayor Joy Belmonte said.
Belmonte said only qualified employees under the A1 to A4 categories would be accommodated in the city’s vaccination sites.
“We follow the Department of Health’s guidelines of prioritization. They should be part of the priority groups,” she said.
Mona Yap, officer-in-charge for vaccination of government offices, said some agencies have established their own vaccination sites while others were booked in the city’s inoculation facilities.
Data showed that almost 800,000 COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Quezon City.
Residents and workers who want to get vaccinated may register through the barangays or QCVax Easy online assisted booking system at https://qceservices.quezoncity.gov.ph/qcvaxeasy.
